The 3 Things Holding You Back From Starting a Franchise

by

Major life choices are always difficult and could be very stressful. When making important decisions such as opening a franchise, it is normal to feel this way, and my job is to alleviate that stress to help make franchising a bit easier. A great way to make decisions is to factor in the reasons that may be preventing you from moving forward.

What if my Franchise Fails?

This is a reasonable concern especially when it comes to spending a lot of money on something. Failure is a thing we all fear when it comes to anything we do in life and even more fear sets in when something is on the line such as your future and finances. One of the keys to help prevent this is to ask the right questions and gain the insight that you very much need.

When opening a franchise, it is important to have a plan ahead of time, knowledge behind it, and a carefully thought out roadmap. As a franchise guide, that is what I am here for. If you are thinking about opening a franchise, I am here to help guide you through this process. I also created quick video.

How do I know if I am qualified to run a franchise?

This is one of the most common questions that people ask themselves and it’s my job to help find the answer! Two big factors when it comes to running a franchise are if the money is available and if you are willing to take that risk. Every franchise is different so it is important to know which you are getting into. Additionally, many people often think this is something they are ready for, but when the time comes they realize they are in over their heads. An important question I like to ask is do you prefer to have a business built for you or do you prefer to build the business from the ground up? There is no right or wrong answer, but by doing your due diligence you can see if you qualify for opening a franchise and discover this ahead of time before moving ahead.

As a franchise coach, my objective is to learn who you are and help you figure out if you believe this is something you want. You may have the money to do so, but do you have the mindset to embark on this journey? What if I can’t attract customers?

One of the best advantages of opening a franchise rather than starting a business, is that a franchise is already a known and recognizable brand. The benefit of this is that the marketing and strategic plans are already set in stone, making it a little easier for you to run the franchise. However, just like all businesses, there are going to be slow periods due to seasonal changes depending on industry and other factors throughout the year. A great way to deal with this is to not expect everyday to be your busiest day, but instead, plan ahead for those slower days to give yourself the best chance of success.

I can understand your fear and you may have plenty of questions, but I am here to help you in your journey to opening a franchise. Feel free to download a free copy of my book “Franchise Freedom” or even schedule some time to chat more about your concerns.
